GER GREAT EASTERN RAILWAY - This 6 inch size (3.5mm over face scaled) lettering was used from 1885. From 1890 the GER Blue Livery was discontinued on goods engines which were then painted black - hence the black counter shading on this lettering would have been invisible. 2 PAIRS PRINTED IN 7 COLOURS WITH MANY THANKS TO THE GER SOCIETY WHO ASSISTED IN THE RESEARCH FOR THESE TRANSFER PRODUCTS.
